| J.V. Courier - 11/22/1995 - Newspaper clipping - Winchester - James Edward "JIm" Clough, 70, of Winchester, formerly of Decatur, died Sunday evening, 11/19/1995, at his home. He was born 6/9/1925, in Decatur, the son of Homer and Verna Creekmur Clough. He first married Barbara Caudry in 1950 and she preceded him in death. He then married Joanne Ruppel Clough 10/4/1980, and she survives of Winchester. He is also survived by four sons, Michael (wife, Martha) Clough of Madison, Wis., John (wife, Julie) Clough of Holland, Mich., Jim Jr. (wife, Susan) Clough of St. Louis, Mo., and Stephen Clough also of St. Louis, Mo.; one grandson and one granddaughter. Mr. Clough was a systems command employee development specialist with the US Department of Aviation. He was an avid tool collector and member of the midwest Tool Society of Columbia, Mo. He was also a member of the Early American Industries Association. Mr. Clough graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1951 and later obtained his master's degree in political science from the University of Iowa in 1952. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. Private memorial service will be held at the Mackey-Daws Funeral Home in Winchester. No formal visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Winchester EMS. |
